Trueman Hurley is a third generation Pentecostal minister. Married to Peggy Simpson Hurley for thirty-nine years, with three children (although he claims five, which includes his daughters-inlaw) and three grandchildren.
He answered the call to preach at the age of sixteen. He was ordained at age eighteen and attended Southwestern Bible College in Oklahoma City.
He has been in much demand as an evangelist, traveling extensively across America conducting revival meetings. He has also preached large crusades in foreign countries. He has preached youth camps, camp meetings, conventions, conferences, men's conferences and seminars for many years.
He has held three pastorates. His first was in Okalahoma City, at the Oneness Pentecostal Church. His second pastorate was with the Faith United Pentecostal Church in Dallas, Texas. He currently serves Faith World as senior pastor.
He has mentored other ministers who now serve Pentecostal Churches.
Jay Hurley is a fourth generation Pentecostal minister. Married to Rebecca Morden Hurley for twenty years. They have one daughter, Heather, who is very active in the ministry of the church.
Pastor Jay has ministered across the country as an evangelist, and has faithfully served Faith World for fifteen years.
In 2003 Pastor Jay initiated and acted as project supervisor and lead our church family to totally remodel our facilities, bringing them to their current beauty.
He also leads our worship teams as well as ministering in our Sunday night Revivaltime services.
Joe Magrum has been a member of Faith World for 18 years.
He, his wife, Shirley, and daughter, Rachel, faithfully serve our
church family in many capacities. Joe has proven to be loyal to
his ministry and the ministry of this church.
He works with the worship team as a drummer, sound technician,
vocalist, and master of ceremonies. He also leads our
discipleship teaching ministry, and is a favored speaker at Faith
World.
After going to North Carolina to further his education, Rev. Jasper Stewart has returned to Leesburg where he grew up, and to his home church, Faith World.
On Sunday, November 11, 2007 he was promoted to the church's youth director. His passion is to see these kids develop and grow into mature Christians who will bring revival to the young people of Lake County.
Jasper is high energy, loves music, plays hard, loves God and worships with all his heart. To know him is to love him.
Rebecca Hurley - Sunday School
Rebecca Hurley is the wife of Pastor Jay, and has led our
Sunday School department for many years. Under her capable
leadership, our children are ministered to by committed, Holy
Ghost filled teachers who labor tirelessly to prepare and deliver
lessons, decorate classrooms, providing a spiritual learning
experience.
Peggy Hurley - Guest Relations
Peggy Hurley is the wife of Pastor Hurley, and leads our Guest
Relations department. Guests are special at Faith World, and she
wants each one of them to feel welcome and experience the love
of Jesus Christ and His church family. She leads a very special
team of dedicated people that minister to all guests.
Shirley Magrum - Benevolence
Shirley Magrum is the wife of Joe Magrum, and is the Director
of Benevolence. She manages our efforts to meet the needs of
the community as well as our church family. Many people have
enjoyed a better quality of life, and had the pains of suffering
eased by her and her team.
Rebecca Padgett has been involved in our care ministries for a number of years. "She is the most caring person I know," is the general sentiment of our church family.
For many years she has written letters to prisoners, and she faithfully leads a dedicated team of people who meet monthly to write letters to prisoners all over the world.
